We are a group of potters and friends who banded together to promote handcrafted ceramic wares and support each other in the making of our craft in order to find new ways to explore our creative tendencies.

Sally Anne Stahl
Sally Anne is endeavoring to make your favorite mug. Her wares are meant for everyday, so she strives to create pottery that is beautifully functional. Chris McCormick
Chris was first exposed to working in clay in junior high school. After thirty years he
found his way back and has been playing in the mud ever since. Chris believes in the handmade movement and that functional art can enrich our daily lives in ways that the mass produced object cant. Chris looks forward to the day when his passion can become his living. Chris currently lives in Sierra Madre California. Check out – chrismccormick.com
Celeste Iida
Celeste has been involved with arts and crafts since the age of twelve. In 1994 she discovered clay and has not looked back. Her work has been in many exhibits and from the American Museum of Ceramic Art, and the George Doizaki Gallery. Her work is in many private collections. She is the current President of American Ceramic Society – Design Chapter of Southern California and is an active member of the California Japanese Guild of Ceramic Art.
Evan Vieser
Evan received his formal education from the School for American Crafts at Rochester
Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. There he studied under Richard Hirsch and Julia Galloway and received a BFA in Ceramics and Ceramic Sculpture. After moving to Pasadena in 2005, a half mile of the Xiem Clay Center, he became a member which allowed him to work with clay again, after a 5 year absence. T. Robert
T. left her 9-5 job in the retail industry to explore her love of clay and has never looked back. Her process is one of shape and shadow. Her works are sculptural and mostly hand-built or thrown and altered. Her love is also for the firing process and her focus is on wood firing.
Jon has come from the world of rock and roll and brings with him a jamming sense of spontaneity. Rock solid forms with impulsive glazing and also a joy of wood firing. He is also the man in the know for all technical questions.
Junzo Mori
Junzo received his undergraduate degree from USC. A native of Japan, Junzo is an active potter and participates in shows throughout LA. With years of firing experience and with the sensitivity and care of an artist, Junzo mixes all the studio glazes and obtains consistently good firing results at Xiem Clay Center. In his spare time Junzo also leads ceramic tours of Japan, he is also a resident of Altadena California.
